Mechanized Auger drilling and sampling
Our work is primarily focused on mechanized auger drilling of the main target zone delineated by our clients. Our augering equipment are man-portable and are able to reach depths of 10-30m where conditions are favorable. The aim is to drill to hit the saprolitic material and beyond, based on our clients’ discretion whilst ensuring that approved safety practices are adhered to religiously, to the highest possible standards. Quality of service remains our outmost priority. Our personnel have worked with similar machines in Burkina-Faso and Cote d' Ivoire, with over 5 years’ experience at their disposal. The auger drill machine adopted by us are mechanical spiral rods (Big Beaver type that could drill up to 30m maximum depth with a bit size diameter of 100mm). The machine has smooth riding pneumatic wheels that makes it easy for fewer persons to push to poorly accessible terrains. These rigs do not need dozer access with the additional challenge of compensation payments to landowners or users, which is an added advantage over the truck mounted auger rigs. These environmentally friendly machines require no chemical substances for drilling and requires a line cutting access of 1.5m wide. It requires only fuel to power the motor for the drilling. We also endeavor to comply with all EPA protocols being practice by our clients.
